त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालय, कीर्तिपुरस्थित जैविक प्रविधि केन्द्रीय विभागसँग Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) सम्पन्न भएको छ। यस सम्झौता अन्तर्गत उत्पादनमा प्रयोग हुने सूक्ष्मजीव स्ट्रेनको पहिचान र प्रत्येक ब्याचको CFU गणना प्रमाणीकरण गरिनेछ।
किन महत्वपूर्ण छ
जैविक मलको गुणस्तर भन्नु नै त्यसमा रहेका जीवित सूक्ष्मजीवको सङ्ख्या हो। स्वतन्त्र प्रयोगशालाबाट प्रमाणीकरण नभएको CFU दाबी किसानको दृष्टिमा अर्थहीन हुन्छ।
लेबलमा उल्लेखित १×१०⁸ CFU/ml अब यही प्रक्रियाबाट पुष्टि हुने भएको छ।
A Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) has been concluded with the Central Department of Biotechnology at Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. Under it, the microbial strains used in the products are identified and each batch's CFU count is verified.
Why it matters
The quality of a bio-fertilizer is the number of live microbes in it. A CFU claim with no independent laboratory verification behind it means nothing to a farmer.
The 1×10⁸ CFU/ml printed on the label is now confirmed through this process.
